As a long time resident of Simsbury and the Farmington Valley I am actively involved in several community organizations.  I am very active in the PTO at the schools in Simsbury, having recently held the positions of Chairman of Ways and Means and Treasurer.  In addition to holding these board member positions, I volunteer in the school as a room parent, in the publishing room and at school wide functions.  I am currently the co-chair of Simsbury's district-wide Classroom Technology Initiative (CTI).  Our goal is to raise the additional funds the school district needs to make every classroom in our district a model classroom with technology.  If you would like more details on the initiative and how Simsbury is creating technology infused classrooms at all grade levels, visit www.simsbury.k12.ct.us and click on the CTI logo.
